Renat studied cello at the class of Professor Nikolay Bukin at the state Conservatory of Uzbekistan. Since 1992 till 1999 he has worked as an assistant principal cellist of The National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan and concertmaster of the State Conservatory.
Renat Yusupov migrated to Australia in November 1999 from St. Petersburg Russia were he worked at the St. Petersburg orchestra as an assistant principal cellist.
Since arriving to Sydney, on many occasions he performed as a soloist with the community orchestras.
Apart from performance experience Renat has also an extensive experience in education. He was appointed as the Head of Music Department at a leading private school in Brisbane from 2005 till 2014. Currently Renat is appointed as a music teacher at Glasshouse Christian College and is working towards his PhD degree in music performance at University of Queensland.
